Until we have some better translations to work from, I can’t be sure about the name of Margot and Heinz’s daughter, but we think we have at last found her – Reha, or Rehallein, Kornfeld. She looks very young in the photographs we have of her, dated 1946, just after the war ended. Apparently, the family were hoping to emigrate from Berlin to Brazil, though we know that Margot and her daughter ended up in New York. We are not sure yet whether Heinz survived to join them.
Update: we have now found record cards and documents for Reha, which will be uploaded soon.
