Abraham Myerson

Abraham Myserson was born in Lithuania in 1881. His family emigrated to North America in 1886. He worked to fund himself through his professional training and eventually became a psychiatrist. There is a Wikipedia page about him here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Myerson

I encountered Myserson’s name in my father’s paperwork because he helped one of Werner’s colleagues, Hermann Weil, to get out of Germany to the USA. He offered to help Werner in the same way.

This offer of help would have been what enabled Werner to get his place of rescue at Kitchener refugee camp in Summer 1939.
